ABOUT US
Jennifer Koenig
PRINCIPAL ADVOCATE I started Beacon Advocacy Group in 2020 after having worked with various unions and individuals seeking WorkSafeBC (WCB) compensation for over 10 years. My primary focus is disability management ensuring my clients receive the maximum compensation for their injury. I completed my preparatory education at Simon Fraser University before completing my LLB at the University of Alberta. I was called to the Bar in 2010.
Out of the office, I volunteer my time with my daughter's dance company. I enjoy exploring every corner of the wonderful province we are lucky enough to call home and am an avid Vancouver Canucks fan. I am able to assist clients in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. *I will be on maternity leave starting in the Fall of 2024. |

LEAD ADVOCATE I have over 18 years of experience representing injured workers with various trade unions focusing and appealing on matters pertaining to claim denial, injury rehabilitation, disability awards, loss of earnings awards and vocational rehabilitation services.
My preference towards representation is from a common sense perspective where I work with my clients preparing a strategy for fair and proper entitlements. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University and have lead various worker advocacy programs with the Canadian Labour Congress, the Pacific Region CLC Winter School and the Labour Advocate Training Programs Level 1 & 2. In my personal time, I enjoy coaching my son's soccer team and have a renewed passion for photography and collecting vinyl records. I am excited to join Beacon Advocacy Group. |
