 WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?
This is a fair question and usually one of the first ones asked. As we work remotely and do not have office rent, assistants or receptionists, our overhead is significantly lower which allows us to have competitive rates. Please feel free to inquire for more information.

DO YOU DEAL WITH ISSUES OUTSIDE OF WORKSAFEBC?
No. Our focus is exclusively on WorkSafeBC. While we have past experience with labour law and employment mediation, we decided to focus our knowledge exclusively on advocating for injured workers.

WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO DEALING WITH MY CLAIM?
We approach every claim with a common sense perspective using our understanding and experience dealing with WorkSafeBC to best guide your claim to a successful resolution. We believe in focusing on the issues that make sense for you in the long term while balancing costs. We will not suggest courses of action if the likelihood of success is low or if the entitlements you would receive would be less than what it costs for you to get them. 

DO YOU JUST DEAL WITH MY CLAIM WHEN I NEED TO APPEAL?
No, quite the opposite actually. We try to avoid appeals as much as possible. An appeal can take anywhere from five to eight months to get a decision on, and that could potentially mean five to eight months without a source of income. This is a significant concern that we are always conscious of. If we are able to resolve your issue with a series of active discussions with WorkSafeBC, we will endeavour to do so. Not only does this keep your claim moving forward in the right direction, it saves you from lengthy delays while in appeal and saves you considerable costs. 

HOW OFTEN WILL I HEAR FROM YOU?
As part of our hands-on approach, we believe in working with you and WorkSafeBC throughout the various stages of your claim. What this means is that we'll be in frequent contact with you throughout every stage of your claim. While our goal is to keep your claim moving in the right direction, we also are anticipating what an appeal may look like down the road. Laying the groundwork for a successful appeal is something we remain conscious of.

HOW DO I START THE PROCESS OF RETAINING YOUR SERVICES?
We would start by having a free 15-minute consultation to understand your situation, determine if we are able to assist you and what the best course of action for you is. Then once we're both on the same page, we would send you the necessary paperwork and begin the process of representation.
